Initial Exam Appointment The first visit is designed to help you understand the conditions in the mouth and their effect on health and appearance. It is also a time to talk over the approximate length of treatment and cost. You can expect this appointment to last from half an hour to an hour or more. This complimentary appointment will consist of: Assistance in completing our medical/dental form. A private conference with Dr. Cohen to review your dental and medical history and the opportunity to discuss your goals and concerns about orthodontics treatment. A thorough visual examination of the mouth to determine if orthodontic treatment is indicated. An orientation tour of our office to learn about our procedures and meet staff members who will be assisting you during treatment.
